Biography - Seth Franco travels throughout the US and internationally using his unique basketball-handling routine as a platform to share the love of Jesus Christ with others. Seth was raised in a Christian household. His grandfather, who was healed of cancer more than twenty years ago, currently travels as an evangelist sharing the testimony of his healing with others. Seth's father ministers in his local church through music and his two brothers are youth pastors. Growing up under the influence of godly rolemodels such as these made a profound impact on Seth. From an early age he knew he wanted to be apart of sharing the truth of the Bible with others. In the seventh grade Seth wrote an essay stating that he wanted to be a professional basketball player and a preacher one day. He has been living that dream.
Seth & Sarah Franco November 17, 2004 Seth and Sarah married on November 17, 2004 and have a beautiful little girl named Jade Evelyn. Sarah is a registered nurse. Her parents, James & Margret Parlow, are currently serving as missionaries in the Ukraine. As a senior Seth was his high school's chaplin. During his college career he was published in Princeton's Theological Journal. And, in October of 2003, Seth became the first Caucasian Harlem Globetrotter since 1942! After touring the United States and Europe with the Harlem Globetrotters, Seth made the decision to stop playing professional basketball and pursue ministry full-time. Since then he has performed and shared his personal testimony of his relationship with Jesus Christ to kids, teenagers, and adults all over the country. Performances have taken place in public and private high schools, churches, juvenile detention centers, summer camps, the Basketball Hall of Fame, and as half-time entertainment for various sporting events. He has had the privilege of working with such Christian organizations as: Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Upward Basketball, Youth For Christ, One For His Kingdom, Youth With A Mission, Impact World Tour, Trinity Broadcasting Network, and more. His desire is to help others find salvation through faith in Jesus Christ and to encourage those who already know Him to keep trusting Him for the future.
